Love forgives and forgiveness is a result of love!

Love is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride);
Love is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly.
Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking;
Love is not touchy or fretful or resentful
Love takes no account of the evil done ot it (it pays no attention of the evil done to it or a suffered wrong). AMP Bible

Love always forgives!

"Love doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil"
1 Corinthians 13:5
We walk in love towards people by the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

In every circumstance, we meed to obey the Law of Love.
Love endures long and is patient and kind;
love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy,
love is not boastful or vainglorious,
love doesn't display itself haughtily.
1 Corinthians 13:4
To walk in God's love is going to be an effort.

We will miss it now and then. But if we don't start trying to walk in love [asking Him of help] then we never will.
To open our hearts to God and allow Him to work in our lives, we need to judge our love walk.

That means we must know what God's love acts like, and then make sure we're doing the same thing.
Are we able to obey Jesus' commandment to "Love one another" any better than the Old Testament saints kept the Law?

When we're born again, the Holy Spirit comes to live in us and gives us God's love in our spirits; so we then have the power to walk in love.

As we walk in love, we keep all God's commandments.
God gave His laws and commandments to His people to prove to them that they needed a Savior.

Galatians 3:24 says that the law served as a schoolmaster to bring God's people to Jesus. His people couldn't be perfected through the Law.

They needed a Redeemer!
When the Israelites broke God's laws, the blood of an animal sacrifice would cover their sins.

It would push their sins ahead for a year so they could receive God's blessings.
God gave the people of the Old Covenant a list of commandments and ordinances to obey, knowing that the Israelites had no power to obey them.

He was actually saying to them "Here are all these rules and regulations to follow in order to live holy before Me."

But, there's no way they could keep them.
Under the Old Covenant, God told His people if they served Him, He'd take sickness away from the midst of them in Exodus 23:25.
"And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.
Romans 5:5

One way for us to stay healthy is to walk in love.
God loves us!

He loves us so much He sent Jesus to die for us.

And it's because of His love, He heals us.
"And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick."
Matthew 14:14
Many have the idea that God is a bully, sitting in heaven waiting to belt them every time they do something wrong.

God is Love!  And He proves it to the world by healing them.
Healing is the dinner bell for the Gospel, and we need to ring that bell.

Many people are tired of religious doctrines; they're looking for something real.

God demonstrates that He is real, healing shows God's compassion and miracles show His power.
Jesus healed the multitudes because He was moved with compassion.

God put His seal of approval on His Word and manifested His love to the people.
"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live."
Deuteronomy 30:19

God wants everyone of us to choose life!
God doesn't choose who will be successful in life.

He's no respecter of persons.

He isn't in a good mood some days and in a bad mood other days.
It's been said, "The person who shuts his spirit away cripples himself in life and becomes an easy prey to selfish and designing people. BUT the one who learns to be led by the Spirit of God will rise to the top in life!"
Jesus has given us the authority over all the devil's works in our lives.

We are redeemed from the curse!
Satan's works have been destroyed, his army has been beaten, and he's been paralyzed by the blood of Jesus that covers us.
Satan has no legal, moral, or spiritual authority to put anything on us and make it stick.

He can only make us sick if we let him.
The Rotherham translation says Jesus defeated Satan so "He might paralyse him that held the dominion of death."

Jesus did all of that for us!
Happy New Year 2013!
