Men and women  of past generations were ordinary people just like us.

They gave their lives to God, believed His words and did what they heard to do.

If we do the same, we will get the same results.
If God was with Moses, He will be with us.

When God promised to be with Joshua even as He had been with Moses; He meant that He would be with us just as He had been with them.
"We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us" Romans 8:37.

We are victors. We are overcomers. We always triumph when we believe God's Word.
Paul never spoke of what he couldn't do; but of what he could do.

So we must believe that we can do everything God says we can do and what God says we are.
We cannot grow spiritually by speaking what we cannot do. Our testimony must tell what we can do, according to what God says in His word; then we can grow spiritually.

Paul said he could to all things through Christ Jesus which strengthened him. Philippians 4:13
If the Word of God means anything, it means what it says. If Jesus meant anything, He meant what He said.

God will do what He said He would do and we can do what God says we can do.

Jesus said, in my name they shall cast out devils.

The Bible says that God gave us power and authority over devils. When we command a demon to come out of someone who is possessed, the demon must obey because we believe and expect God to keep His word.
We can do everything God or Jesus says that we can do.

Jesus said, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
Sicknesses and diseases affect the bodies of many Christians.

Teachers and preachers influenced by tradition, stand with little more than pity and sympathy. They also think and teach that it will work out for the best, or God's teaching them something, or God's chastising them for a reason, or God's bring them closer to Himself.

Christians don't need to be sick any more than they need to be sinful.
Let this be a settled truth for us to know. Healing is for us all!

It's God's will for every person to be well and strong. If there is any 'maybe' in our case, then we will think there is a 'maybe' in every case.

God is no respecter of persons....Acts 10:34  If God will heal anyone, He will heal us!
If it was God's will to heal in the old testament, how much more is it  His will to heal us in the new testament.

We are the redeemed by the blood of God's Lamb and are living in His grace, mercy and truth.
God said that He is to be the healer of His people "I am the Lord who heals you" Exodus 15:26.

He told three million people this and everyone believed His words. Everyone of them who needed healing were made whole.
"He brought them forth... and there was not one feeble person among their tribes" Psalm 105:37.
Satan is a liar. Jesus said so. We can open the Bible and see how for  six thousand years he has lied to people telling them that God's word isn't true.

Satan has denied God's Word and has promises people everything but has broken every promise he has ever made.
It has been said, Don't doubt God.
If you must doubt something,
doubt your doubts, because they
are unreliable; but never doubt
God nor His Word.
God is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man that He should repent: has He said and shall He not do it? or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?  Numbers 23:19
Once people really realize that God wants them healed and that it isn't His will for them to be sick, they most always get their healing when prayed for or shortly after.
If we are sick, God wants to heal us and until we are convinced that He wants us well, there will be doubt in our minds as to whether or not we will be healed.

As long as there is doubt, faith can not exist; and until faith is acted on without doubt we may never be healed.

Hebrews 11:6 and James 1:6-7
Psalm 22:24
Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.
Such a prayer offered in faith will heal [sozo-meaning save, heal, made whole] the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.
God saved [sozo-meaning save, heal, made whole] you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
And Jesus said, "All right, you can see! Your faith has healed [sozo-meaning save, heal, made whole] you."
Wherever he went, in villages and cities and out on the farms, they laid the sick in the market plazas and streets. The sick begged him to let them at least touch the fringe of his robe, and all who touched it were healed [sozo-meaning save, heal, made whole].
Paul and Barnabas came upon a man with crippled feet. He had been that way from birth, so he had never walked. He was sitting and listening as Paul preached. Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed [sozo-meaning save, heal, made whole].
There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved [sozo-meaning save, heal, made whole].
And anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved [sozo-meaning save, heal, made whole].
My blogs have had technical difficulties since Nov 20th. The company I am with put up a create a new blog page and it kept me from getting to my blog dashboard. So I had figured I am out of the blogging business.
There has been a lot of communication between myself and google, blogger.com and webcolleagues in order to get this back online.  I do thank every body for their patience and all those who helped to solve the problem. I am sure I wasn't the only one who was having this problem because there are 100's of thousand of people blogging on these cites.  Thanks again everyone!

And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed [sozo-meaning save, heal, made whole] you.
Then those who had seen what happened told the others how the demon-possessed man had been healed [sozo-meaning save, heal, made whole]
Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved [sozo-meaning save, heal, made whole]

But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. Mark 16:16
Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived.

When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet, pleading fervently with him. “My little daughter is dying,” he said. “Please come and lay your hands on her; heal [sozo-meaning save, heal, made whole] her so she can live.” Mark 5:23
But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many.

But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ.
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!

When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples.

This brings great glory to my Father.
Yet more and more people believed and were brought to the Lord, crowds of both men and women.

As a result of the apostles’ work, sick people were brought out into the streets on beds and mats so that Peter’s shadow might fall across some of them as he went by. Crowds came from the villages around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those possessed by evil spirits, and they were all healed.
He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.

All the people saw him walking and heard him praising God.
One Sabbath day as Jesus was teaching in a synagogue, he saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit. She had been bent double for eighteen years and was unable to stand up straight.

When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, “Dear woman, you are healed of your sickness!” Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God!
And immediately, as everyone watched, the man jumped up, picked up his mat, and went home praising God.

Everyone was gripped with great wonder and awe, and they praised God, exclaiming, “We have seen amazing things today!”
Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God?

You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.
Because God’s children are human beings, made of flesh and blood, the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.
John answered their questions by saying, “I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am, so much greater that I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals.

He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children [Greek seed] of Abraham.

You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.
And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power.

Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.
Let all that I am praise the lord;
may I never forget the good things he does for me.
He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.
Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom.
Instead, fear the lord and turn away from evil.

Then you will have healing for your body
and strength for your bones.
When Adam sinned, sin entered the world.

Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.
And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.

But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law.

When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing.

For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said, “He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases.”
Then you will ask in my name. I’m not saying I will ask the Father on your behalf, for the Father himself loves you dearly because you love me and believe that I came from God.

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
Who His own self bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.
And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.
But to all who believed him and accepted him,
he gave the right to become children of God.
Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy,
The thief’s [devil's] purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My [Jesus'] purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord.

Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.
So anyone who eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily is guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

That is why you should examine yourself before eating the bread and drinking the cup. For if you eat the bread or drink the cup without honoring the body of Christ, you are eating and drinking God’s judgment upon yourself.

That is why many of you are weak and sick and some have even died.
The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
So Jesus explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.
In one of the villages, Jesus met a man with an advanced case of leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground, begging to be healed. “Lord,” he said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.”

Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared. Then Jesus instructed him not to tell anyone what had happened. He said, “Go to the priest and let him examine you. Take along the offering required in the law of Moses for those who have been healed of leprosy. This will be a public testimony that you have been cleansed.”
One day while Jesus was teaching, some Pharisees and teachers of religious law were sitting nearby. (It seemed that these men showed up from every village in all Galilee and Judea, as well as from Jerusalem.) And the Lord’s healing power was strongly with Jesus.

Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a sleeping mat. They tried to take him inside to Jesus, but they couldn’t reach him because of the crowd. So they went up to the roof and took off some tiles. Then they lowered the sick man on his mat down into the crowd, right in front of Jesus. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man, “Young man, your sins are forgiven.” .....

Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!” And immediately, as everyone watched, the man jumped up, picked up his mat, and went home praising God.
After leaving the synagogue that day, Jesus went to Simon’s home, where he found Simon’s mother-in-law very sick with a high fever.

“Please heal her,” everyone begged.

Standing at her bedside, he rebuked the fever, and it left her. And she got up at once and prepared a meal for them.
That evening many demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. He cast out the evil spirits with a simple command, and he healed all the sick.

This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah, who said, “He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases.”
He personally carried our sins
in his body on the cross
so that we can be dead to sin
and live for what is right.
By his wounds
    you are healed.
Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,
But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could He die, and only by dying could He break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could He set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.
The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise.

And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.
God gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles. When handkerchiefs or aprons that had merely touched his skin were placed on sick people, they were healed of their diseases, and evil spirits were expelled.
I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.  I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
While they were at Lystra, Paul and Barnabas came upon a man with crippled feet. He had been that way from birth, so he had never walked. He was sitting and listening as Paul preached. Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed.

So Paul called to him in a loud voice, “Stand up!” And the man jumped to his feet and started walking.
So the disciples went out, telling everyone they met to repent of their sins and turn to God.

And they cast out many demons and healed many sick people, anointing them with olive oil.
And he called his twelve disciples together and began sending them out two by two, giving them authority to cast out evil spirits. He told them to take nothing for their journey except a walking stick—no food, no traveler’s bag, no money.
“Look!” the man exclaimed. “I told you once. Didn’t you listen? Why do you want to hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples, too?”

Then they cursed him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses! We know God spoke to Moses, but we don’t even know where this man comes from.”

“Why, that’s very strange!” the man replied. “He healed my eyes, and yet you don’t know where he comes from? We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but he is ready to hear those who worship him and do his will.
And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.

These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”
When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Jesus, and they begged him to touch the man and heal him. Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then, spitting on the man’s eyes, he laid his hands on him and asked, “Can you see anything now?”

The man looked around. “Yes,” he said, “I see people, but I can’t see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around.”

Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again, and his eyes were opened. His sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly. Jesus sent him away, saying, “Don’t go back into the village on your way home.”
On another Sabbath day, a man with a deformed right hand was in the synagogue while Jesus was teaching. The teachers of religious law and the Pharisees watched Jesus closely. If he healed the man’s hand, they planned to accuse him of working on the Sabbath.

But Jesus knew their thoughts. He said to the man with the deformed hand, “Come and stand in front of everyone.” So the man came forward. Then Jesus said to his critics, “I have a question for you. Does the law permit good deeds on the Sabbath, or is it a day for doing evil? Is this a day to save life or to destroy it?”

He looked around at them one by one and then said to the man, “Hold out your hand.” So the man held out his hand, and it was restored! At this, the enemies of Jesus were wild with rage and began to discuss what to do with him.
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!

When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.

Peter and John went to the Temple one afternoon to take part in the three o’clock prayer service. As they approached the Temple, a man lame from birth was being carried in. Each day he was put beside the Temple gate, the one called the Beautiful Gate, so he could beg from the people going into the Temple. When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for some money.

Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!”

Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened. He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.

All the people saw him walking and heard him praising God.

I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.
When Jesus saw that the crowd of onlookers was growing, he rebuked the evil spirit. “Listen, you spirit that makes this boy unable to hear and speak,” he said. “I command you to come out of this child and never enter him again!”

After Jesus left the girl’s home, two blind men followed along behind him, shouting, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”

They went right into the house where he was staying, and Jesus asked them, “Do you believe I can make you see?”

“Yes, Lord,” they told him, “we do.”

Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” Then their eyes were opened, and they could see!

Jesus sternly warned them, “Don’t tell anyone about this.” But instead, they went out and spread his fame all over the region.

Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him.  So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.

And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.”

Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town.”
Now it happened on another Sabbath, also, that He entered the synagogue and taught. And a man was there whose right hand was withered.

So the scribes and Pharisees watched Him closely, whether He would heal on the Sabbath, that they might find an accusation against Him. But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, “Arise and stand here.” And he arose and stood.

Then Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one thing: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy?” And when He had looked around at them all, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he did so, and his hand was restored as whole as the other. But they were filled with rage, and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.  It includes healing...
But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!

When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.
Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number.

As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.

Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
He personally carried our sins
in his body on the cross
so that we can be dead to sin
and live for what is right.
By his wounds
    you are healed.
But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning.

But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,  who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,  but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.
And the whole multitude sought to touch him:
for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.
Even in his own land and among his own people, the Jews, he was not accepted. Only a few would welcome and receive him. But to all who received him, he gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was to trust him to save them.
And I have given you authority over all the power of the Enemy, and to walk among serpents and scorpions and to crush them. Nothing shall injure you!
The thief’s [satan] purpose is to steal, kill and destroy.
My [Jesus] purpose is to give life in all its fullness.
You can never please God without faith, without depending on him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely look for him.
Is anyone sick? He should call for the elders of the church and they should pray over him and pour a little oil upon him, calling on the Lord to heal him.  And their prayer, if offered in faith, will heal him, for the Lord will make him well; and if his sickness was caused by some sin, the Lord will forgive him.
So if anyone eats this bread and drinks from this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, he is guilty of sin against the body and the blood of the Lord.

That is why a man should examine himself carefully before eating the bread and drinking from the cup.
For if he eats the bread and drinks from the cup unworthily, not thinking about the body of Christ and what it means, he is eating and drinking God’s judgment upon himself; for he is trifling with the death of Christ.

That is why many of you are weak and sick, and some have even died.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
And you no doubt know that Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with power, and he went around doing good and healing all who were possessed by demons, for God was with him.
So Jesus explained, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.
One day in a certain village he was visiting, there was a man with an advanced case of leprosy.  When he saw Jesus, he fell to the ground before him, face downward in the dust, begging to be healed.

“Sir,” he said, “if you only will, you can clear me of every trace of my disease.”

Jesus reached out and touched the man and said, “Of course I will. Be healed.”

And the leprosy left him instantly! Then Jesus instructed him to go at once without telling anyone what had happened and be examined by the Jewish priest. “Offer the sacrifice Moses’ law requires for lepers who are healed,” he said. “This will prove to everyone that you are well.”
One day while he was teaching, some Jewish religious leaders and teachers of the Law were sitting nearby.  It seemed that these men showed up from every village in all Galilee and Judea, as well as from Jerusalem.

And the Lord’s healing power was upon him.
Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a sleeping mat. They tried to push through the crowd to Jesus but couldn’t reach him. So they went up on the roof above him, took off some tiles, and lowered the sick man down into the crowd, still on his sleeping mat, right in front of Jesus.

Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man, “My friend, your sins are forgiven!”

He commanded the paralyzed man, , “Pick up your stretcher and go on home, for you are healed!”
And immediately, as everyone watched, the man jumped to his feet, picked up his mat and went home praising God!
After leaving the synagogue that day, he went to Simon’s home where he found Simon’s mother-in-law very sick with a high fever. “Please heal her,” everyone begged.

Standing at her bedside he spoke to the fever, rebuking it, and immediately her temperature returned to normal, and she got up and prepared a meal for them!
That evening several demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus; and when he spoke a single word, all the demons fled; and all the sick were healed.

This fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, “He took our sicknesses and bore our diseases.”
He personally carried the load of our sins in his own body when he died on the cross so that we can be finished with sin and live a good life from now on. For his wounds have healed ours!
Haven’t you yet learned that your body is the home of the Holy Spirit God gave you, and that he lives within you? Your own body does not belong to you.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.   And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Because God’s children are human beings made of flesh and blood, the Son also became flesh and blood.

God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise.
