"Your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion,
walketh about, seeking whom he may devour;
whom resist, steadfast in the faith"
1 Peter 5:8,9

He may not devour those who rest on God and
His Word. If we resist the devil, James tells us,
he will flee from us. So if he roars more, resist
him more. If he keeps on roaring, keep on
resisting. The louder he roars, the greater we
must resist. Then we will have the joy of seeing
him flee before us.
