No matter the situation we are in, God can
and will keep us physically and spiritually.

The Egyptians tried to kill off the Israelites
through bondage and hard work....."But
the more they afflicted them, the more they
multiplied and grew" Exodus 1:12

When they left Egypt, there wasn't one
feeble person among their tribes even
though Egypt was being wiped out with
discease. Psalm 105:37

Then. . . "There shall no plague come nigh
thy dwelling"; "Though a thousand fall at
your side and ten thousand at your right
hand it shall not come nigh thee."

Thy dwelling means our physical bodies
and even our actual homes.

God demands our complete attention. He
wants us to 'attend' that is put everything
out of our mind and concentrate only on
His Word.

He wants us to listen (with our ears) and
hear what He is saying. We are to incline
our ear unto His sayings.

We are to look as well as listen by not letting
them depart from our eyes, but keeping our
eyes on Jesus through His Word.

And we are to keep them in the midst of our
hearts. We are to hide it in our hearts.

Then we will find life and health to all (all is all)
our flesh.

It is our inalienable right to enjoy health and
our responsibility to make it known among
all nations. (Psalm 67:2)

A study of God's Word on this subject, making
it an entire part of our beings is necessary.
Proverbs 4:20-23
"My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear
unto my sayings. Let them not depart from
thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
For they are life unto those that find them, and
health to all their flesh."

What rights do we have to physical healing
and health?

All that was bought and sealed for us by
Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection is ours by
divine right.

How can we be sure what is for us. . . .only by
a continuous, careful, prayerful study of the
Word of God will bring knowledge and faith
for what is ours.

Even if we have forgotten or ignored the
Physician of Gilead....He has not forsaken
us.

His voice rings out like a bell, calling over
land and sea, "come unto me all ye who
are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Why hasn't the health of the daughter of
God's people recovered?

Because they have "forsaken the fountain
of living waters and hewed them out cisterns,
broken cisterns, which will hold no water"
Jeremiah 2:13

Balm of Gilead!

Gilead means eternal fountain. "The water
that I shall give him shall be in him a well
of water springing up into everlasting life"
John 4:14

The Balm of Gilead is unlimited. "Whoever
will, let him take the water of life freely."
Revelation 22:17

In Ezekiel 27:17 Judah traded in wheat,
honey, oil, and balm.

There we have the gospel. Wheat is life.
Honey is the sweetness of the bridegroom's
love. Oil is the Holy Spirit. Balm is healing.

"Is there no balm in Gilead: is there no
physician there?" Jeremiah 8:22

It is clear that there is balm in Gilead and
there was a physician there because the
prophet asked, "Why then is not the health
of the daughter of my people recovered?"

In the same prophecy the daughter of
Egypt is urged to go up to Gilead to take
the balm but told that it is in vain for her
to take 'many medicines', because she will
not be cured that way.
